The USPTO has released a new report on examination outcomes since the Supreme Court’s ruling in Alice Corp. v. CLS Bank International. According to the report, first office actions with patent eligibility rejections have decreased 25% since the USPTO issued patentable subject matter guidance. We previously wrote how the guidance was a positive step to address patent eligibility rejections. The USPTO’s report is available here.
