Attorney Alan Harrison participates in multinational, multi-million dollar business and intellectual property litigation. He obtains patents and trademarks for his clients. He arranges advantageous settlements of commercial disputes. Attorney Harrison also consults with owners of closely held Connecticut businesses regarding their corporate structures, partnership or operating agreements, and other matters. He has helped small businesses and large corporations to obtain patents for semiconductor fabrication, artificial intelligence, aircraft engines, hydraulic control systems, and heavy industrial equipment.
Before practicing law, Attorney Harrison was a decorated Naval submarine officer and a mechanical and nuclear operating engineer. He has designed heavy chemical mixer equipment, operated a nuclear reactor underwater, planned the production of commercial and military aircraft engines, and developed an innovative method to diagnose damaged fiber resin composite material.
Alan is admitted to practice in Connecticut State and Federal courts and in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University. His law degree is from the University of Connecticut.
