Hao Zhang is pursuing her J.D. at University of Connecticut School of Law. She previously worked two years in a private law firm on patent prosecution with an emphasis on the electronic and electrical arts, and she has drafted and prosecuted towards allowance patent applications including smartphone devices and wireless communication systems. Ms. Zhang has a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in smart materials including conducting polymers and bioderived materials from Virginia Commonwealth University, and she has a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in signal processing from Virginia Commonwealth University.
