WHIPgroup has successfully prosecuted a patent application towards grant in less than one year using the USPTO’s Track One prioritized examination. The issued patent is directed to a medical separator system and method for preparing platelet rich plasma. The quick turnaround between initial filing of the application and issuance of the patent will help WHIPgroup’s client in actively protecting its technology against the constant threat of infringing products from competitors. This achievement shows the effectiveness of the Track One program in obtaining patent protection quickly and serves as a critical tool when infringement by a competitor may be imminent.
