On June 28, 2019 WHIPgroup obtained a Judgment for Vineyard Vines that included both monetary damages and a permanent injunction against several serial counterfeiters. The Defendants in this case set up fraudulent websites that mimicked the actual Vineyard Vines website, and used Facebook advertisements to divert unsuspecting customers to these websites. As part of the Permanent Injunction, the fraudulent domains will be transferred to Vineyard Vines. This Judgment comes after WHIPgroup obtained a Temporary Restraining Order that was issued on the same day the Complaint was filed.
