WHIPgroup, on behalf of client KARL STORZ, obtained a favorable claim construction ruling following a Markman Hearing last month in the Northern District of Alabama. The Court agreed with WHIPgroup’s attorneys by finding that the claim terms at issue are definite, and by adopting modified versions of KARL STORZ’s proposed claim constructions. The Court also favorably ruled that various claim terms did not require construction, despite arguments to the contrary by Defendant Integrated Medical Systems International (“IMS”).
