WHIPgroup has filed a patent infringement lawsuit on behalf of its client Karl Storz Endoscopy-America, Inc. (“KSEA”) in the Southern District of New York. KSEA’s U.S. Patent No. 9,468,360, the subject of the complaint, is directed towards a “video system for viewing an object on a body.” The complaint alleges that Synaptive Medical, Inc. infringes the ‘360 patent with their commercial promotion, use, and sale of products called “Brightmatter Servo” “Brightmatter Drive” and “Brightmatter Vision.”
